Coming to you from Lafayette, Louisiana! We love Australian Labradoodles so much! We began our search for a labradoodle puppy because Louis had grown up with Labrador Retrievers and was very fond and impressed with the intelligence and loyalty of the (man’s best friend) breed that he, his family, and friends had witnessed in his duck hunting days. We incorporated the Labrador Retriever and the hypoallergenic, non-shedding quality into our search and were intrigued by the beauty that we found in Australian Labradoodles.
It was Mount Harmony Labradoodles (Keri & Chad Blevins) website that stopped us in our tracks. I fell in love with the beautiful, silky, flowing hair atop their heads and the eyes that seemed to speak right into my heart and soul. We were not ready yet! Keri was so patient and understanding over the span of time that we took to decide that today was the day. She was deeply compassionate, readily available, and informative about her lifestyle and occupation. Chad was very kind and supportive about the whole ordeal. It was during this period, as we were seeking a new puppy to bring home, that a spark and a desire arose to bring many puppies into our home by becoming a breeder. I told her about my dream, and she was incredibly happy to help! Husband said, “Let’s do it,” and the rest is history!
We were approaching our 60’s but yet feeling so young at heart and in health. We decided that we wanted to put our heart and souls together and with love and begin this small business venture with each other. Family is really everything to us! We enjoy bringing these adorable puppies into the world with our children and grandchildren by our sides.
